John Dearness Public School has served families in the Oakridge Family of Schools for over 50 years. We are a Kindergarten to Grade 8 school of 276 students with a tradition of academic and co-curricular excellence in music, athletics and intramurals. We have a progressive School Council which provides advice on our School Improvement Plan, through an ongoing emphasis on open communication and collaboration. This group also provides outstanding financial support for our students through fundraising.
